The Darkest Tales

I love the game, easily a 5 star... Buuuut, its broken. Im at stuck at the pirate ship because iit won't trigger the main fight. After i kill the 1st 2 dwarves and the platforms are destroyed nothing happens. No other dwarves come down. Captain just throws apples... FOREVER. I watched a playthrough to make sure i wasnt missing anything too. Nope. Game. Is. Broken. Ive quit, reset, reloaded, switched consoles, yyou name it. Stuck. I cannot progress OR go back. To say im frustrated is an understatement. Id change it to 5 stars in a heart beat if the developers would FIX It. UPDATE: It wasnt broken, I missed an item. The game is fantastic. Id give it 100 stars! Sorry about the poor initial rating devs. The best platformer this year, easily. If you like Ori, hollow knight, or little nightmares you'll love this!

Great premise, beautiful game. Stuck at broken pirate ship encounter. Unless I've missed a required item, the floating in the faerie dust just doesn't work.

Played preview a while back. Very excited its out. So far its a load of fun. Such a unique idea and well made. On giant chase, jump on second candle. Dont swing on it. 👀 Update Marb is right. Pirate ship fight is glitched. Nothing happens and cant do what walkthrou says. Cant. Run back either. Broken game. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Kinda makes me rage Update: I did start over but love it either way... Love this game. Thanks for fix and useful tip. I cant stop plaing haha

Never go back to the Peter Pan boss room after beating the boss to explore because you wont get back out and will essentially soft lock your save there and now im out of a file until they fix it but othere than that pretty solid game for what it is

I had an amazing time with this one. Waited for the patch. Can't avoid the pun, but the game's stitches burst around the island chapter- Can confirm the game is fully playable on series x, even if it starts to chug a bit. Frustrating at times, many mechanics should've been implemented sooner. I won't forget The Darkest Tales. Seems the art and the idea of it were certainly the priority. Never played a frustrating 4 star. Glad i did
