Vambrace: Cold Soul

Shame the game has 3 stars because of old bugs and morons not readingthat it's a rogue like. Some may get turned off by that score. It's a 5 star rogue like and a great game compared to other indie projects. There is depth here that isn't apparent for the first chapter or two. Then it opens wide and becomes great

I'm sorry, I would give this game 5 stars if it didn't keep crashing and deleting my progress. I got all the way to Chapter 7 before it froze. When I restarted I was back at the beginning of Chapter 5 with even less gear than when I first played that section. Now, after hours of grinding back to my previous spot, it did it all again! I don't have it in me to try again.

Looks like Darkest Dungeon but plays nothing like it. Stats and combat are painfully simple. No leveling and only a few abilities per charactor. Dungeons take forever to get through and you can't save mid-dungeon. Every enemy does maybe 2-4 damage maximum to my 20+ health. Extremely tedious to play. Looks very nice and very story driven, if that's your thing.

Art is nice and the story is ok. Gameplay is a watered down Darkest Dungeon, almost like an old flash game. Play it for the art, lore and cute protagonist.

Great game if you happen to be into turn-based RPG's, collecting costumes, and female characters. 👍👍 Highly recommended.
