Metroidvania that remembers the metroid part

Solid experience, map is absolutely huge, combat is quick. Story is told more from the world over cutscenes, reminds of Hollowknight this way just not as refined. Good weapon variety out the gate, magic is strong but high cost making it useful without dominating. Takes lessons from the best and pays its respects, Ender Lilies, SotN, Super Metroid, its all here.

    This game is really good

Great metroidvania. Crisp controls. Fun weapon/upgrade system. Lots to explore. Not crazy hard but not easy either. I would highly recommend.

    100% Pure Metroidvania Goodness!

If you love metroidvanias, just buy this. Trust me. This is my favorite genre. Ive been playing them since the 90s. This one gets EVERYTHING right. Best metroidvania I've played this year along with Blasphemous 2.
