9h full playthrough 18/30 review: Do not buy, do not believe the other reviews. This is a terrible port. Dialogue options and building upgrades will OFTEN self-select or purchase, giving HUGE debuffs or ending your run because it eats power. The "A" button to zap IF you get that perk just straight up doesn't work. I had Campaign 2 freeze for 30s through multiple resets then give me random resources. Besides all of that, AH'ers beware. Tedious achievements heavily reliant on RNG just to pad run-time. These devs don't know their own game either as 2 achievements aren't properly listed, and the difficulty is almost soley reliant upon RNG. I've played the other despot games, I even beat the campaign on this one, but Des3K is a stain on the series. When half the achievements are sub 1-2% player completion, you know something's wrong. 5 buildings, 3 resources, time that increases power consumption, and RNG at the end of each day. That's it. Spend 50h to master that then reflect on life.

This could be a super game but the RNG really takes alot away from it. The game seems to go out of its way to screw the players more often than not. The game is more frustrating than fun in most cases & that is the main thing holding the game back. Eventually you just question why you are even wasting your time anymore & that never ends well for a game. Pros: - Unique game. - Fun in small doses. Cons: - Game is to RNG intense which kills a lot of the fun. - Unfavorable RNG seems hell bent on hurting more than helping. - Achievements are extremely RNG intense, not hunter friendly. If you are an achievement hunter you will want to avoid this game at all costs, unless the RNG gods owe you a favor or two... (TPAR on Xbox S: 0 days 2 hours 50 minutes)

Sometimes button presses dont register and other times it can register that you pressed a button when you haven't pressed it, chip unlocks can be lost at random when starting the game and things like the lightning ability that can speed up a facility is poorly mapped for a controller and cant be used as it is clunky to try and navigate to as you can get stuck on it

Wtf do the buttons do? This is unplayable . Love the other Desot games. The UI is clunky and poorly explained in those also, but can figure it out thru trial and error. I cant even drermine if my inputs are evenregistering or not. You do what it says and all of a sudden all your humans instantly die and if you only have 1 just reset t he game

Start new game and cant move any humans, the a and b button gone!
