Fun for BG fans but broken

IWD was definitely combat focused, not story - could have used more plot. Too linear and combat was always: overwhelmed by numbers. Got boring fast. PS:T was the opposite - too much writing/text, combat was mid. Big problem though: the final level was BROKEN. It crashed after each cutscene, I couldn't finish the game. Beamdog did this with BG Throne of Bhaal, too: last level was bugged so I couldn't progress to the final boss. I'm done with Beamdog. They had DECADES to bug fix, yet here they are, bugged games I can't complete. Buyer beware

    Great game. Bad port.

Planescape: Torment is the greatest game I've ever read, but about 20 hrs in the crashes when I try to save. Icewind Dale exists.

    Meh...

It's decent... Not the best port... Really kinda a rip off for the price... Wait for it to go on sale. Only rating Icewind Dale. Not that same as the old verion on PC (Icewin Dale)... Can't rate Planescape since was too bugged to play. Would ask for refund if I could, but playingit to scratch the itch until BG 3 on Xbox... Not the finished product that was advertised...
