Songs of Conquest

That's been my experience so far. As an older gamer I enjoy the old school graphics style. The music is nice too. It's for the most part a fairly straight forward experience, no spreadsheets and lengthy how to videos necessary. I like that as sometimes you just want to get in and go. Never played the classic HOMM games so as far as comparisons go I'm the wrong guy to ask. Four campaigns and a multitude of ways to play including player made maps gives it nice replayability. I wish we could build maps on consoles. It wasn't necessarily something I was expecting as most console games lack this feature, but I would have enjoyed the capability to do so. Otherwise so far it's been fun. I just spent the morning playing this instead of getting things done. Just one more turn.

Classic HoM&M gameplay...better in most way. But, and it is a big butt, game crashes often loading from manual combat, usually when your gonna lvl up. However, campaign 3 scenario 4, crashes every time (yes devs, I have put in abug report). Will adjust score after patch. Patched on 11 Dec. Super responsive. Game and team are dynomite. Cheers!

Everything we older gamers have been missing classic no nonsense turned based goodness.

If you've longed for your Heroes fix, it's here.
