Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales

If you loved The Witcher 3 and loved playing Gwent this is a must play. Definitely scratches that itch. Even the story in this CARD GAME is insanely better than anything Netflix has done related to The Witcher series.

Greetings fellow Witcher & Gwent fans. You'll find many a review here with the headline 'Crashes Frequently' and/or 'Leave Projekt CD alone!'. The game is a few things. It adds more to the Witcher lore and more Gwent cards. The entire combat system is Gwent focused and will have you upgrade your Camp to allow access to newer cards and abilities. The exploration of the map feels like a ye old point and click, you'll walk up to people crying, dying, and amongst the ruin and widows that wash the world you just want wood and gold. The game still crashes as I am writing this. I wouldn't mind as much if it saved more often. However I can relate to the frustration with those who have experienced it. The people who are defending a million dollar company over releasing a faulty product are either CDPR interns or fans blinded by love of the Witcher. Expect crashes. Expect lost progress. The gameplay is fun when it isn't going full Dale Earnhardt. 4/5. If the crashing gets patched 5/5.

Very fun. Gwent is completely different than it is in Witcher 3. This is more strategic. Had no crashing issues like some of the older reviews say

This game may not be a typical RPG but dont let it stop you from giving it a try. I was Skeptical at first with all the bad reviews and game style but if your a fan of GWENT or the Witcher franchise this game has an amazing story that i was both very sad to see it end for the sheer factor it left me wanting more of the amazing story . Not gonna lie some of the puzzles in this game can be quite annoying(Looking at you spider puzzle...) and not all give rewards or can be lackluster . YOUR DECISIONS MATTER!!! trust me when i say this , i didnt think things would be very impactful but o boy was I wrong as your progress through be very careful on what decisions you make it WILL matter in the long run. I never had any issue with glitches or bugs playing the game and im currently on a xbox one S so i would at least give it a shot . @CDPROJEKT Please consider making DLC for the game and/or a sequel . Very fun but crashes a lot during battles!!!! It ruins the fun when the game crashes right as you are about to win OR AFTER YOU WON forcing you to do the battle over again.
