Tormented Souls 2 Digital Deluxe Edition

Loved the first game, and I'm glad the sequel is just as fun. It's old school horror, which I've missed. Challenging puzzles, rationing healing items, and ammo is wise (on medium difficulty). A few solid jump scares already, and lots of exploring. Zero regrets on this purchase. I'll update if there are issues, though.

Okay. This. Sequel. Exceeded. All. Of. My. Expectations. I absolutely love this game from start to finish. 10 out of 10 for any Resident Evil fan would recommend highly. There are moments in this game that remind me of old school Resident Evil when you're in the mansion. I really hope they make more. Stop what you're doing and download this game. Let it consume you.

I'm updating my review of TS2 since January. I found one new bug that came with the update. As well as a few existing ones before the update that should be corrected. - (New) When going for the Good Ending, Caroline and everyone's faces are covered in shadows in the cutscene at the train station. You can't really see anything. It wasn't like that before the recent update. Before you could see their faces clear as day. Please fix this issue. - (Old) Whenever Caroline's running, her movement tends to jerk a bit when the camera angle changes. This one tends to somewhat bother me. I don't think I've had this issue in TS1. - (Same old) I've beat the game 4 times already. Yet the achievement for the good ending is still glitched for me somehow. Even before and after the new update. Please fix this issue. Other then that. It's still a good game overall.

I love survival horror games and I am a completionist. I really enjoyed this game and it brought me back to the early RE and Silent Hill days. Unfortunately, the game is extremely broken. Boss fights like the nun can crash the game, and the final boss achievements are completely bugged. I have beaten the final boss and received the Good Ending four times, including on new saves. After researching, I found that saving or entering the tent near the end can permanently break achievement tracking. Even reloading earlier saves and avoiding the tent did not fix it. I am hoping the developers can fix this game breaking bug and trigger the missing achievements retroactively, because I am not replaying this boss again.
