GRIME II

You get the burst dash ability and the platforming sections become a absolute chore because the ability doesnt work right half the time. Also the game has some weird bugs right now. Objective markers that dont ever go away. Glitching through the map and stuff like that. Also its incredibly easy to get lost and not know where to go. The blade mammoth part especially annoyed me. Probably one of the worst metroidvania map layouts in the genre. The game also has massive difficulty spikes in the later areas to where every little peon is one or two shotting you no matter your build and you have to deal with a status effect thats on the floor where you are fighting that drains your health constantly. Also why is there no dedicated map button? I shouldnt have to hit the Back button and LT twice when I wanna look at the map which is something you do constantly in this genre. Definately could use some updates imo. Its got a good foundation just needs some love.

Had no idea this was even coming. Loved the first one, the perfect blend of metroidvania and soulslike

Bigger and more interesting than the first game however alot of the parkour doesnt work all the time, especially the green orbs and wall grab. Bosses start out tough on normal mode and become borderline unfair in later game with the handvisage being one of the worst designed bosses ive ever fought in any game. Could become a great game with some patches but brutal in its current state.

Crashes are a pai, and would like a quick map button

Legendary just like the first one a small learning curve is needed compared to most metroidvanias for its tough but fair gameplay.
