One of the most captivating designs for an rpg as it is punishing. Pretty rare for a game to have me comeback after swearing off it after a having "best team" ever only to startover bc over random BS. Eventually i did beat it... after 60 failed runs. You have to REALLY understand its mechanics, character strengths, and weaknesses and have the resilience to succeed. I love the world enough to keep me from rage quit forever

Challenging and fun strategy rpg roguelike
This game is packed with innovative mechanics and fun strategic gameplay. Each round of combat presents a puzzle to outsmart your enemies. Attacks and abilities are entirely deterministic, so youll never lose to a bad die roll. The game frontloads what seems like a lot of rules in the tutorial, but stick with it and youll find a great deal of depth. Only negatives are occasional bugs, some long battles, and an overload of information and effects during large battles that the game is bad at conveying. There can sometimes be too many parts to reasonably keep track. Untangling the mess of actions, turn order, and effects is by far the biggest challenge, but its also part of the fun. Highly recommended for people that like to plan several moves ahead.

Would be excellent with updates.
This game has a special place in my heart as one of my favorite's for rogue like games to date but with game breaking bugs that crash the game after a few battles or deleted whole saves without a single update on console its just sad. It would be great to see some of the DLC from PC to get the full experience but the devs left it dead.😒

Amazing but crashes constantly
it saves pretty much after every move so you don't lose much if any progress when it crashes, but the game crashes 10+ times per run, so if you're not on a series it might get annoying. It's otherwise a fantastic game, I'd absolutely recommend if you like roguelikes at all.
