WAY better than you're expecting with a gorgeous art style, deep mechanics, story, side quests and an OST that goes unnecessarily hard. You've probably paid more for bad chicken wings. Buy it, beyond worth.

Really enjoyable metroidvania
Its a little janky but dev is still fixing afaik. I love MVs & this one did not disappoint. Some of the in-game systems & equipment effects could be explained better (does upgrading golden braided ring increase effect?) or perhaps more in-depth. Game has a cool kill or spare feature attached to certain boss fights which trigger different outcomes (1st playthrough i spared everyone, now in 2nd im killing). Apparently this game was made by a single dev, which is mighty impressive. If you enjoy metroidvanias, this will definitely scratch that itch... Id recommend playing on "story mode" (easy) at first until you know what you're doing. It can be a little slow at the start but bear with it & it gets really good. Finally, with your first levels you should get strength to 5 & dexterity to 3 so you can wield the claymore as soon as you find it (in the tomb area).

Great game until it glitched
Was really enjoying this game and then after dying to the fourth boss every enemy in the game is invincible. Cant kill anything, cant advance game. This garbage needs to be patched. Edit... Figured id give it one more try and it bugged out again about an hour in. After saving D'agos son thegame froze while he was giving me the flute item. Now he wont talk with me and game wont advance. Never should have released the game in this state.
